Our first course is designed for secondary school students who can hold simple conversations in Chinese and sound out words using basic pinyin. Students do not need to recognise Chinese characters before joining.The course explores thoughtful, challenging ideas, with language support to help students understand and participate. Classes usually have 3–5 students, with a maximum of five. This allows time for discussion, individual feedback and active participation.Classes will still run with fewer than three students.每班通常为3–5人，最多不超过5人，让每位学生都有参与讨论、练习表达和获得个别反馈的机会。报名人数不足3人时，也会正常开班。

Both programmes explore the six themes of Heaven, Earth, Humanity, Emotion, Aspiration and Beauty.The holiday programme is a standalone course of six three-hour sessions, including short breaks. It presents the essential content in a concentrated format, with 18 scheduled hours in total.The term programme includes ten two-hour lessons, totalling 20 hours. Its final lesson is dedicated to review, reflection and sharing students’ learning. Yes. Across the four school terms, each class explores the six themes through new texts, questions and activities. Holiday program fees include a one-hour collection grace period immediately after each session. Students will remain supervised during this time at no additional charge.For sessions ending at 12:00 pm, students must be collected by 1:00 pm. For sessions ending at 4:00 pm, students must be collected by 5:00 pm. All times are Sydney local time.If a student remains beyond the included grace hour, additional supervision is charged at A$30 per student per hour, or part thereof. Any part of an additional hour is charged as a full hour.Please arrange additional supervision with the teacher in advance wherever possible. If you are unexpectedly delayed, contact the teacher promptly. Additional supervision charges apply from the end of the grace period until the student is collected.Parents and guardians must provide current emergency contact details and advise us who is authorised to collect their child. Drinking water, light snacks and fruit are provided during the holiday programme.Morning students staying for lunch may bring their own meal or ask the teacher to help arrange a takeaway order. If your child misses a lesson due to illness or another personal matter, we offer credit equal to one paid lesson’s fee, limited to one missed lesson per student, per term or holiday program. There is no minimum notice period, but please notify the teacher as soon as possible.The credit can be used towards a future term or holiday program. Missed lessons are not refundable, and we do not offer make-up lessons. As students may miss different topics, a shared make-up session cannot adequately cover each student’s missed learning.We provide the handouts and in-class exercises for missed lessons. Additional absences within the same term or program do not qualify for further credit.This arrangement applies to occasional absences, not withdrawal from the course. Course credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. It can only be used by the student originally enrolled and cannot be transferred to another person or redeemed for cash.Credit may be applied towards a suitable future term or holiday program, subject to availability.If the new course fee exceeds the available credit, you pay the difference. If it costs less, the remaining credit stays available until its original expiry date. Using part of the credit does not extend its validity.课程抵扣额自签发之日起12个月内有效，仅限原报名学生本人使用，不可转让，也不可兑换现金。抵扣额可用于适合学生程度且有名额的后续学期或假期班。如新课程费用高于可用抵扣额，需补足差价；如费用较低，余额可继续使用至原有效期结束。部分使用抵扣额不会延长其有效期。

If you cancel at least seven days before your first scheduled lesson, you may choose a full refund or course credit, with no cancellation fee.If you cancel less than seven days before your first scheduled lesson begins, a cancellation fee equal to one lesson’s fee will be deducted. You may choose to receive the remaining amount as a refund or course credit.The notice period is calculated from the time we receive your cancellation email to the scheduled start of your first lesson. Seven days means seven full calendar days (168 hours). We will arrange a replacement lesson or refund the fee for the affected lesson. If an entire programme is cancelled, fees for lessons not delivered will be refunded.These arrangements are separate from the personal absence policy and do not count towards your child’s one missed-lesson credit allowance.我们会安排补课，或退还受影响课程的课时费。如整期课程取消，将退还未提供课程的费用。此安排与学生个人缺课政策分开处理，不占用学生每期一次的缺课抵扣额度。
